Ever wondered how to make those desi pub-style masala chips? Then look no further.
Every time I go for a tandoori mixed grill, I always opt for masala chips. I feel that they’re the perfect side for a grill and a curry. They’re a nice level of heat that certainly adds flavour and packs a punch but without intruding on the wonderful flavours of a curry or a grill.

Ingredients

- 180 g chips oven chips work just fine!
- 2 tsp lemon juice optional
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped coriander optional
- 1/4 red onion, roughly chopped optional
Instructions
- Cook your chips however you prefer. Whether that be oven chips or homemade, the choice is yours.
- Once the chips are cooked, transfer them into a bowl where you can eventually toss the chips.
- Add your lemon to the chips and toss. This isn't essential but it helps the seasoning stick to the chips and will help cut through the flavours of the seasoning.
- Add the Matt Cooper Bites Masala Chips Seasoning and toss the chips again. It's best to start with 1 tsp and then add more if you require. Remember, it's easier to add more than it is to take some out!
- Add your chopped coriander and onion and toss the chips for one final time. Make sure the chips are fully coated in the seasoning. Your masala chips are now ready to enjoy!
