Need an easy midweek dinner that doesn't end in another takeaway? These One Pan Chicken Seekh Kebabs are packed with authentic curry house flavour but couldn't be easier to make.
Made using our Matt Cooper Bites Seekh Kebab Mix, simply mix the seasoning with chicken mince, press it into a baking dish and bake. No skewers, no rolling, no standing over the grill. Just juicy, flavour-packed seekh kebabs with minimal effort.
They're ready in around 30 minutes, naturally high in protein and perfect served with warm flatbreads, salad and our homemade mint yoghurt sauce. It's the kind of meal that feels like a Friday night takeaway but is simple enough for a Tuesday after work.
Why This Is The Perfect Midweek Dinner
This recipe is all about big flavour without the hassle. Everything is mixed, pressed into one dish and baked, so there's very little prep and hardly any washing up.
The chicken mince stays juicy, the seekh kebab mix brings the flavour and the oven does most of the work for you.
It's ideal for busy nights when you want something proper to eat but don't want to spend ages cooking.
Takeaway Flavour Without The Fuss
Traditional seekh kebabs can be a bit fiddly, especially if you're trying to shape them onto skewers. This version keeps all the flavour but makes the method much easier.
By pressing the mixture into a dish and dividing it into kebab shapes before baking, you still get juicy, spicy chicken seekh kebabs without the faff.
Serve them with flatbreads, salad, raita, chips or rice for a proper fakeaway at home.
High Protein And Great For Leftovers
Because these are made with chicken mince, they're naturally high in protein and work brilliantly for meal prep.
Any leftovers can be reheated the next day and added to wraps, rice bowls or salads for a quick lunch that actually tastes good.
If you're bored of plain chicken and rice, this is a much better way to keep things simple without sacrificing flavour.

4 tbsp seekh kebab mix
-
0.5 tsp red food colouring mixed with 3 tbsp water
-
200g natural yogurt
-
1 tbsp mint sauce
-
1 tbsp mango chutney
-
2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)

Milk to adjust consistency

Directions
Combine the mince, kebab mix and food colouring. Mix through until the meat and the spices are fully combined. Cover and leave in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Mix the other ingredients to make the green sauce.
Transfer the kebab mixture into a Pyrex dish and spread it into an even layer. Using a spatula, press straight down through the mixture at equal intervals to divide it into individual kebab shapes. Watch the video attached to the recipe if you'd like to see this step in action.
Bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes in the oven.
