Using my Butter Chicken Curry Kit, you’ll have all the perfectly balanced spices and seasonings ready to go, with no need for measuring or complicated prep. Simply add all your ingredients – chicken, tomatoes, cream, and the contents of the kit – straight into the slow cooker, stir, and let it cook gently until everything is tender and beautifully blended.
This recipe focusses mostly on convenience. For a more authentic tasting Butter Chicken, please follow the original Butter Chicken recipe.

Ingredients

Half a bag of Butter Chicken Curry Kit

600 g chicken breast pieces – large chunks

3 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp ghee or unsalted butter

200 ml chicken or vegetable stock

400 g passata or chopped tomatoes

150 ml single cream
-
Bunch of fresh coriander
Directions
Prepare all the ingredients and add them all to the slow cooker, apart from the coriander, ghee/butter and single cream
Cook on high for 3.5 hours or low for 6 hours. If the curry is too runny, take the lid off for 30 minutes and continue cooking.
Add the cream, coriander and butter/ghee just before serving and stir.
Serve
